Terms of Service

Last updated: May 17, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of babbie, a mobile app for tracking your baby's daily activities. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use babbie.

babbie is not medical advice. The app provides typical-range comparisons and summaries for informational purposes only. Always defer to your pediatrician for any medical decision.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@babbie.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the data you enter — baby profiles, logs, notes, and any files you attach ("Your Content"). You grant babbie a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the app for you (and any co-caregiver you invite). You can delete Your Content at any time.

4. Premium features & subscriptions

Some features are available only with a babbie Premium subscription, including: sharing baby data with co-caregivers and pediatricians, medication reminder notifications, the full Summary tab, adding more than one baby profile, writing logs against more than one owned baby simultaneously, and viewing activity history older than 90 days.

Available subscriptions. babbie offers the following auto-renewable subscriptions:

Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase and may vary by region, applicable taxes, and current promotions. The current price for each plan is always displayed in the app before you confirm the purchase.

Payment, renewal, and cancellation (auto-renewable subscriptions).

Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled directly by the respective app store and are subject to its policies — see Apple's refund support or Google Play's refund policy.

If your subscription expires or is canceled, your existing logs and baby profiles remain accessible, but premium capabilities are disabled until you re-subscribe. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice; any price change takes effect at the start of the next billing period after the notice.

Your use of babbie Premium is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Apple Standard EULA.

5. Service availability

We work to keep babbie running smoothly, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the app — or the app as a whole — at our discretion, and we are not liable for any temporary unavailability, data sync delay, or loss of data, whether caused by service interruption, software error, or events outside our control.

babbie is offered for as long as we are reasonably able to operate it. We hope that will be a long time, but we cannot commit to providing the service indefinitely and we have no ongoing obligation to any user to keep it running. If we ever decide to wind the service down, we will, where practical, give advance notice through the app or by email and provide a reasonable opportunity to export your data before access ends.

6. Termination & account deletion

You may stop using babbie at any time. You can delete your account directly from within the app at Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing support@babbie.app. Deletion is permanent: your account, baby profiles, logs, reminders, and associated data are removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.

Subscriptions are not canceled by account deletion. Auto-renewable subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by babbie. Deleting your babbie account does not cancel an active subscription and does not stop future renewal charges. To cancel a subscription you must turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings before the next renewal date. We recommend canceling your subscription first and then deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to other users or to babbie itself.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, babbie is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, babbie and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, goodwill, or any harm related to your or your child's health — arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. You use babbie entirely at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the full exclusion of liability, in which case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold babbie harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. If changes are material we will give you notice in the app or by email. Continued use of babbie after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the babbie operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local mandatory law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.
